Requisition Summary

Are you an experienced Recruiter with a knack and passion for sourcing and hiring great talent?

At Kenworth, you will be responsible for the full recruiting life cycle including requisition development, advertising activities, candidate screening and selection. The recruiter role requires strong competency in customer focus, change and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing while also being results focused. The recruiter role is a key member to our HR team at Kenworth and PACCAR.

What You'll Do in Your Role

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process with a high volume requisition load.
  • Design, develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract quality candidates with a focus on high volume up to Manager level roles.
  • Build rapport with hiring managers and executives so that you know what they want and they trust your judgment. 
  • Screens, prioritizes and presents qualified candidates that meet job requirements.
  • Collaborates with HR team to identify internal talent and help facilitate career movement.
  • Serve as the expert in the areas of recruiting and hiring new employees.
  • Work with the HR team to understand areas where recruiting performance can improve and engages in process improvement efforts.
  • Manages reporting requirements for recruiting.

What You Bring To The Table


  • Minimum of 4 years recruiting and familiarity with HR functions, including compensation, organizational development and recruiting outreach program management.
  • Strategic: You have vision and can communicate it clearly.
  • Creative: You think outside the box and are not afraid to take thoughtful risks. 
  • Customer Service Driven: You build strong relationships with your customers and are a trusted adviser. 
  • Solutions Focused: Your are solutions oriented when it comes to sourcing and hiring, and have superior organizational skills. 
  • Prior success working in a fast paced environment where functioning autonomously and collaborating as part of a team are dually vital. 


  • Bachelor’s degree required, PHR preferred
