This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the trucking industry and want to gain hands-on experience in product planning and development. The internship will provide an opportunity to work with experienced professionals in the industry and gain valuable skills and knowledge that can help launch a successful career in product planning.


Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

  • Assist in conducting market research to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for new products or product improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and operations, to help ensure successful product development and launch
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to inform product decisions
  • Assist in the development of a forecasting tool
  • Learn about product development life cycle and product development process, including design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of customer focused research events


Qualifications & Skills

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field.

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. The hourly rates for Interns are $25 per hour for undergraduates and $30 per hour for graduates. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
