Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees regarding policies and procedures
  • Support hiring managers and recruiting to support recruitment and staffing plans
  • Administer programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction level
  • Support the HR Manager with various employee relation issues and follow proper investigation processes
  • Provide guidance for various leave of absence and reasonable accommodation requests and produce the required documentation
  • Provide assistance for employee questions related to payroll processing and benefits, open enrollment, and other employee benefit matters
  • Provide monthly reporting to managers with data that will help drive their decisions; providing additional ad hoc reports as requested

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and standards such as ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc.
  • Proven experience communicating effectively with all levels of employees and maintaining good working relationships
  • Consistently demonstrate creativity to anticipate and resolve conflicts, solve problems and/or develop alternatives
  • Solid ability maintaining professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive HR information.
  • Strong MS Suite skills, high accuracy, and an eye for detail
  • Able to self-guide work prioritization and completion; work independently with little direct supervision
  • Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations and progressive discipline, performance management, and diversity
  • Technical and functional knowledge of US federal employment and labor laws and regulations
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professional maturity
  • Experience working across all levels of organization with multi-cultural employees and proven ability to adapt to a variety of styles and circumstances
