Job Overview

GHG (Greenhouse Gas) Compliance Senior Analyst role is critical to achieving GHG goals and well as leading other groups in successfully navigating GHG requirements. This role positively impacts our customers, dealers, the environment, and Kenworth’s future growth.


Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Manage the GHG databases, reporting processes, and truck division strategy to ensure that truck sales achieve regulatory targets.
  • Responsible for all aspects of GHG running business activities
  • Manage regular GHG auditing and adjustment processes
  • Collaborate across multiple PACCAR groups to ensure Greenhouse Gas Emission Model (GEM) score accuracy
  • Conduct data forensics and resolve data issues to ensure GHG compliance on a daily basis
  • Manage GHG compliance reporting activities
  • Manage the GHG and related databases  as a business system  owner and lead auditor
  • Maintain functionality of queries, tables, macros, and database processes to ensure data availability to multiple users
  • Manage regulatory forecast, certification, and compliance preparation for GHG, Zero- Emission & related regulations
  • Support Engineering, Marketing, and Sales managers in implementing targeted GHG credit generating plan
  • Optimize data access by identifying opportunities for streamlining and automating data processes
  • Analyze sales history for trends and opportunities to optimize Kenworth’s GHG strategy and provide competitive intelligence
  • Lead cross-division GHG initiatives and other regulatory-driven activities
  • Opportunities to represent Kenworth in customer, regulatory, and industry events


Qualifications / Skills


  • A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field is required; MBA is a plus.
  • Intermediate SQL, Advanced MS Access /Excel, or other relational database skills are required
  • Tableau or other data visualization skills are required
  • 3+ years of related experience is required
  • Advanced MS Access, Excel, SQL, and other relational database skills
  • Attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shift priorities
  • Up to 10% travel required


  • Python or R programming languages desired or ability to learn
  • Data management and statistics experience desired or ability to learn
  • Data forensics a plus
