Requisition Summary

The Sales/Fleet Management Department is seeking a Supervisor to manage and lead the Fleet Management team within the department. The Supervisor would manage all aspect of day to day tracking, management, and process growth of our assigned and growing list of key Kenworth fleet accounts. Ideal candidates would have a strong leadership background in managing candidates and leading department and division goals.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a high performance team which includes supervising, personnel development, team building, budget forecast, proportioning workload, and tracking progress.
  • Manage and track all aspects of account management from front-end technical spec optimization, program management, and tracking of all front-end, build quality, and after sales/field service items associated with assigned fleet accounts.  
  • Develop, propose, and implement new tracking methods for the group to further improve operational efficiency.  Also coordinate and support quality business review meetings/trips with assigned accounts throughout the year.   


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.  
  • 5+ years of previous supervisory and/or lead experience preferred.     
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and manage multiple priorities. 
  • Ability to provide group leadership and management of human resource issues. 
  • Must have the desire to help win or conquest customer deals by supporting our fleet sales managers. Must be proactive and have strong planning skills
  • Excellent verbal and business writing communication skills are a must; customer service oriented.
  • Professional and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to manage multiple tasks, take initiative, and be a strong team player and problem-solver across intra-divisional teams.
  • Experience working with customers preferred
  • Overall product knowledge required
