Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World’s Best® heavy and medium duty trucks. Kenworth is an industry leader in providing fuel-saving technology solutions that help increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. The company’s dedication to the green fleet includes aerodynamic trucks, compressed and liquefied natural gas trucks, and medium-duty diesel-electric hybrids.


Job Overview

Business partner with Kenworth Controllers to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies through core processes.


Primary Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in value chain process mapping of core Kenworth accounting processes  
  • Support the identification of process inefficiencies and limitations
  • Use six sigma tools and the latest technology to develop potential solutions
  • Challenge conventional thinking in identifying the preferred solutions
  • Lead the prioritization of Kenworth Controllers process improvement projects
  • Project manage process Kenworth Controllers improvement projects
  • Ensure alignment of approach with other PACCAR divisions


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience required; PACCAR experience preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified or working to Black Belt preferred   
  • Team player demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict and challenge the status quo
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities
  • Excellent data handling skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business environment
  • Ability to coach and influence at multiple levels in the organization

Additional Job Board Information

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for the Continuous Improvement Coordinator position is $89,900 – $140,600 annually. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
