Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an immediate opening for a Warranty Analyst in the Warranty Group. This position will work with dealers, customers, and management team to provide technical support for our products.

Here's what you will do in this role:

• Analyze and process warranty claims

• Review claim information provided by dealers and, working independently or with the Supplier Recovery team, Engineering or Quality, to process claims per established guidelines

• Interfacing professionally and effectively with others (internal and external) in resolving warranty claims and/or issues

• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned responsibilities

• Participate in corrective action processes using Six Sigma methodologies and tools (training provided), as required

• Perform additional technical and administrative duties as assigned

You're going to need this to be successful:

• One or more year’s industry or related experience preferred

• Professional and effective communication skills (written and verbal)

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access; experience with MS Teams is a plus

• Strong ability to recall details and have a mechanical aptitude

• Must be self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced just-in-time environment with rapidly changing objectives

• Handle multiple tasks, take initiative, be a team player, problem solver, and critical thinker

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• The ideal candidate will be comfortable processing large volumes of data/warranty claims

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
