Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company is looking for a Technician to support our customers with field repairs. The Technician will travel to customer locations across the U.S./Canada and perform field repairs to Peterbilt trucks.

 

Job Requirements 

  • Experience with mechanical repair procedures in accordance with type of work materials involved
  • Produce high quality consistent repairs
  • Adjust, and operate a variety of tools requiring close tolerance work, inspect own work for conformance with specifications, using gauges, hand tools and power tools.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Medium- and Heavy-Duty vehicles a must. Corresponding ASE Certification a plus.
  • Able to work outdoors in all types of weather and in confined areas on trucks
  • Travel up to 100% U.S. and Canada

 

Education

High school diploma or GED required, appropriate technical school training preferred or applicable work experience.
