Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for a Sales Order and Production Coordinator to add to our Sales Operations Team in Denton, Texas. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

  • Managing annual supplier component allocation volume, including tracking and reporting.
  • Act as a Liaison with Purchasing, Materials, Engineering and Program Management
  • Drafting and publishing Truck Sales Bulletins.
  • Manage backlog conversions and chassis conversions
  • Evaluate option code availability and pricing impact
  • Ad-hoc data mining requests using Access and SQL based databases.
  • Assist in automation of reports in Access and Excel.
  • Special Projects (testing for new software, six sigma inter-department projects, etc.).

Skills / Competencies

The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience with Heavy Duty OEM preferred.
  • Technically savvy, ability to quickly learn complex software.
  • Experience in OPS, Access and Excel, SQL and VBA a plus.
  • Effective communication skills required, both written and oral.
