Job Functions / Responsibilities

 

This position will assemble the 3D model of the truck chassis utilizing PRO-E and select bills of materials needed to build the truck as well as maintaining the chassis image as changes occur.  It also insures the truck specification is accurate and buildable per predetermined engineering guidelines.

Analyzes orders for highly specialized and unusual engineering content requirements determining suitability of specifications for intended service.

Prepares documentation for engineering release, ensure accurate content.

Draws and/or accesses frame layouts using Pro-E.

Assists dealers and sales departments in developing required information for quotes and orders.

Coordinates information with design, bill of material, materials, production, and field service departments.

Maintains and updates applicable files and records.

Skills / Competencies

Two year technical degree required
Bachelors in engineering related field preferred..
Pro-E experience preferred.
