Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for an Order Adminstration Analyst to add to our Order Administration Team in Denton, Texas.                                

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage Advanced Planning and Scheduling System (APS).
  • Balance weeks of schedule based on plant constraints, supplier constraints, and build rate change.
  • Assist in Sequencing of the Denton plant in the APS system.
  • Sequence a week or days at a time in the Scheduling System.
  • Manage Scheduing Attribute Management System 2.
  • Load build rates, holidays, and plant shutdown in SAM.
  • Review orders in OPS to determine potential issues.
  • Request additional information for current orders from Engineering or the dealer.
  • Monitor shedules in Denton, KenMex (Mexicali), and St. Therese on a daily basis.
  • Review Dealer changes for Scheduling, Shipping, and Paint and coordinate with the respective parties involved.

Job Functions / Responsibilities Continued

  • Assist program managers with project tracking and scheduling.
  • Maintain and communicate Line Schedule, Paint Schedule and other various reports.
  • Process paint and shipping requests, which involves working directly with each Plant for designs and exceptions.
  • Review paint reports for errors or missing data before the truck goes on line.
  • Coordinate with materials on any new, replaced, or discontinued options.
  • Review timing of introduction of new products and keep schedules current.
  • Act as a central contact for Dealers and Internal Sales.
  • Coordinate with other departments to identify and solve problems as necessary.
  • Coordinate with ITD to resolve system problems and assist with system enhancements.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related area required.
  • Working knowledge of OPS.
  • Working knowledge Word, Access and Excel.
  • Ability to review and adjust build constraints and select trucks for movement.
  • Demonstrated communication and research skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree is required.
