Requisition Summary

If your passion is developing training programs and strategic initiatives that enable dealers to take their skills to another level, this position is for you. You must have experience with industry-leading brands and helping sales professionals grow their business through increased product knowledge, management expertise, operational know-how and leadership acumen. You must have the passion to lead and develop a high-functioning training team responsible for the planning, development, management and execution of national dealer training programs for PACCAR/Peterbilt Division on behalf of dealers and users in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Planning, development, management, and execution of national dealer training programs for PACCAR/Peterbilt Division, systems and services on behalf of Peterbilt dealers, TRP Stores, and special markets initiatives in the United States and Canada. Inclusive of online, classroom, and event-based training, along with associated workbooks, videos, digital content and collateral materials.
  • Support for Mexico Marketing team in the development, management, and execution of national dealer training programs for PACCAR/Peterbilt Division products, systems and services on behalf of Peterbilt dealers and TRP stores in Mexico and Latin America.
  • Management and supervision of tasks, programs and budget for third party training suppliers, consultants and related service providers.
  • Alignment with Peterbilt Truck Divisions on new products and service training as well as management of all makes service training programs across Peterbilt dealers and TRP Stores.
  • Management of department budget and supplier support funding for PACCAR/Peterbilt Division training programs and training activities. Recruitment, retention, leadership, mentoring, and performance evaluation of national dealer training team employees.



Skills / Competencies

Strong training content development, project management, event management as well as organizational, analytic and team leadership skills. Knowledge of wholesale and retail sales and marketing programs; heavy and medium duty truck products and services; as well as knowledge and experience with supplier and dealer retail channels. Proven ability to present to a large audience and coach others to do so as well.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Instructional Design or related field(s) required.
  • Minimum 5 years managing or implementing large-scale, multi-lingual training programs required.
  • Minimum 5 years in development of classroom and self-study training programs required.
  • Approximately 40% travel required.
