Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company has an opportunity for an HR Generalist responsible for supporting our Division offices. This individual is responsible for HR-related strategic activities and recruiting as well as administrative duties and responsibilities.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

•     Lead recruiting full-cycle recruitment activities, including onboarding new employees and transfers.

•    Collaborate with HR leadership on projects and initiatives that are valuable to supporting the strategic priorities of the organization and division.
•    Work in a collaborative manner with HR personnel to provide uniform interpretation and application of policies, practices and procedures. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
•    Assists with coordinating multiple employee events including employee luncheons and Annual Service Award Banquet
•    Assist in coordination of new employee on-boarding/orientation
•    Manage personnel changes in the HRIS system (SAP), preparing reports in the HRIS and recruiting system (SuccessFactors), AAP reporting, maintaining personnel files, and other administrative responsibilities 
•    Provide backup to the Human Resources department as needed
•    Build strong relationship with HR partners
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree required
•    2-5 years of recruiting and/or generalist experience in Human Resources 
•    Experience with HRIS, preferably Success Factors and with recruiting software
•    Strong PC skills - strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
•    PHR or SPHR preferred but not required
