PACCAR Global Connected Services is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience with the development of innovative products delivered to connected-enabled vehicles. Connected vehicle capabilities include enabling 3rd party telematics services, vehicle performance, over-the-air software updates, and data integrations services.  The Global Connected Services group generates revenue through connected services, data services and fees from 3rd parties. 

Requisition Summary

PACCAR Global Connected Services is looking for a Assistant Controller that will be located in Denton, Texas.


This position will lead the worldwide accounting and reporting for GCS Program by working closely with the GCS organization and various PACCAR business units and accounting groups. Position supports the Director of Global Connected Services and reports to the ITD Controller in Renton.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Prepare, coordinate and consolidate monthly forecast for revenue, cost and spending. 
  • Develop, coordinate and review periodic management reporting, including Sales, Financials and KPI’s
  • Prepare and consolidate annual operating budget
  • Perform revenue projection and modeling using various assumptions
  • Provide strategic analysis including support for senior management presentations
  • Analyze and recommend financial reporting structure that best fits the business model
  • Review engineering program cost include capital spending request
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting policies (such as revenue recognition) and other company policies, legal and tax requirements
  • Other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Skills / Competencies

  • 7+ years of professional working experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with performing sophisticated financial analysis
  • Solid analytical and decision making skills
  • Motivated self starter with the ability to work independently
  • Must be able to work with and relate to all levels, including senior managers
  • Proficient in Excel, Power Point, and Word


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA or CMA required

MBA highly preferred
