Requisition Summary

Provide administrative and project support to Peterbilt’s General Manager and other Senior Executives at Peterbilt Division as needed. This office work position will routinely interface with other PACCAR executives, customers and visitors, and will require a professional collaborative communication style and limited direction.
 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Executive administrative support including travel planning, meeting planning, answering calls, preparing correspondence and preparing daily and weekly reports.
  • Coordinate travel and process expense reports for the General Manager.
  • Manage corporate aviation scheduling for Peterbilt Division.
  • Set up on-site and off-site meetings for General Manager within Peterbilt but also with visitors included and not limited to customers, OPCOM members and other PACCAR Executives.
  • Professionally answer phones, distribute mail and send emails upon request of the General Manager.
  • Create and edit management presentations and reports.
  • Solicit weekly input and develop weekly reports for distribution.
  • Collaborate with and back up other executive support team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication ability; ability to maintain professional attitude while working with a sense of urgency under deadlines; aptitude for organizing daily work and activities; and ability to communicate with senior executives and officials inside and outside the company.
  • Excellent PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet).
  • Proficient business writer with impeccable grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Highly developed organizational, planning and interpersonal skills; detail oriented and an effective communicator.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information.
  • 10+ years administrative support experience, including 5 years supporting a senior executive.
  • Ability to interact with senior executives and officials inside and outside the company.
  • Experience providing support in a company with global operations.
  • Professional image and demeanor.

 

Education

  • High school diploma required. 
  • College degree highly desirable.
