Requisition Summary


Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for an Engineering Intern for our Cab & Interior Current Product Team within our Product Engineering Team in Denton, Texas.                  

Department or Program: 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

·         Interns will support design engineers with their current programs by using Creo to design and evaluate proposals to improve cost, reliability and functionality.

·         Additional projects may include but are not limited to:

o    Create models and release drawings

o    Identify cost reduction opportunities

o    Determine root cause and drive corrective actions


Qualifications & Skills


The candidate we seek will be currently enrolled in an Engineering, Business, or related program.  

The skills that are important to be successful in this position are as follows:

· Exceptional Microsoft office

· Excellent verbal and written communication


· Self-starter-Resourceful

· Strong Professionalism

· Analytical



Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with an Engineering degree focus.

Minimum qualifications include completion of sophomore year in an engineering program leading to a bachelor’s degree.
