Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for our Division Office located in Denton, Texas. This position performs a variety of Accounts Payable related functions and reports to the General Accounting Supervisor.  A successful AP Specialist provides excellent customer service by working with contacts to resolve issues and validate missing or incorrect information.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Responsible for invoice processing, matching of PO and receiver to invoices, verifying proper approval per authority matrix
• Accounts Payable related research and issue resolution
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations and analysis
• Special projects as assigned

Skills / Competencies

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to research and problem solve
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel
• SAP experience a plus

Education/Experience

• Minimum 2 years accounting related experience preferred
• AA or BA degree preferred
