Division Information

PACCAR Leasing, a PACCAR division, was founded in 1980 to provide premium Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles to leasing and rental customers. Requisition Summary

Provide Service Operations Management support for Company Stores ensuring that service and maintenance operations are in accordance with stated expectations and PacLease quality standards.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative maintenance and service support to Company Store.
  • Conduct maintenance audit reviews with Company Store General Managers, Branch Managers and Service Managers. Provide written evaluations of Company Store Service Department performance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Help coordinate the implementation of PACCAR's selected service management platform at the Company Store level in coordination with the overall PACCAR launch plan when needed.
  • Provide support / advice in areas of truck order specifications, pricing, residual and rating standards in support of direct risk total cost of ownership.
  • Participate in troubleshooting problems of significant impact or high expense.
  • In coordination with PLC Corporate Maintenance Manager, enforce all vendor programs, rebates, warranty, recall, etc. programs for PACCAR Leasing.
  • Lead Service training initiatives and follow up.
  • Assist in reviewing key service metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Lead in implementation of company initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with heavy-duty truck lines including direct service of trucks or truck components.
  • Experience in leasing service management of dealership service management preferred.
  • Proficiency with PCs to include knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships customers, supporting departments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with different types of people.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50%.
  • Passport or ability to obtain is required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.   
  • Technical School preferred.
