Requisition Summary

This position ensures the proper flow and accuracy of spare parts inventory required to sustain Maintenance operations at the PACCAR Engine Company. This role will interface internally with Maintenance Planners, Engineers, and Technicians to identify new materials, delivery and inventory issues, and lean flow delivery of materials. This role leads activities to ensure proper development, maintenance and accuracy of Equipment Master Data and Spare Parts within the Plant. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper procedures are followed and develop and or adjust procedures as required to increase inventory accuracy and maintain PACCAR standards
  • Maintains and Creates Master Data and Taxonomy of all MRO Spare Parts (H-Numbers) within SAP
  • Reviews New Equipment BOMs and recommended Spare Parts list against current inventory to identify required updates to Spare Parts Inventory
  • Liaison with Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineering to ensure minimum/maximum inventory is maintained and sufficient.
  • Coordinates with Vendors to obtain quotes and lead-times for spare parts and updating Inventory data to ensure
  • Interfaces with MRO Unit Manager and Maintenance Manager on root cause analysis of inventory issues
  • Establishes Spare Parts Criticality through cross functional reviews
  • Audits and Support MRO Crib activities to ensure inventory accuracy
  • This is not an all-inclusive list as other duties may be required of this position.

Qualifications & Skills


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Visual Management/Project Management Tools
  • Proven problem-solving and planning skills
  • Excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence others
  • Ability to work within deadlines to achieve goals



  • Knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance or Materials Modules
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or Business Administration
