Job Functions / Responsibilities

Leads Design of Material Processes and Flow

  • Develops Overall Material Handling Strategies

  • Strategy for Each Part

  • Coordinates Outsourced Packaging Engineering Activities
    Supports System Design and Testing
    Provides Support to Materials High Performance Work Teams
    Champion for Materials Continuous Improvement Projects

  • Kaizen, Lean, Six-Sigma
    Manages Integration of New Products / Updates Into Materials Flow
    Manages Department Capital Budget

  • Long Term Budget Development

  • Current Expenditures and Requisitions
    Primary Materials Representative

  • ITD Projects

  • PACCAR Production System

  • Engineering


    Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required.

  • Materials Analytical or Logistics Related Manufacturing Engineering Experience Required.

  • Six-Sigma Training Certification Preferred.

  • Advanced Degree Preferred

  • Understanding of Set-Up and Management of Just In-Time and Just In-Sequence Inventory Practices Required.

  • Strong Demonstrated Knowledge of Six-Sigma, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement Concepts Required.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills. Superior analytical and problem solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products specially Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint. Experience working with High Performance Work Teams
