Requisition Summary
SUPERVISES AND PROVIDES LEADERSHIP TO SALARIED SHOP EMPLOYEES WHILE ATTAINING MANUFACTURING, PRODUCTION, AND QUALITY OBJECTIVES.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- CORRECT AND IMPLEMENT SAFETY CONCERNS.
- PLAN AND ASSIGN WORK TO SALARIED SHOP PERSONNEL TO ATTAIN PRODUCTION OBJECTIVES.
- ESTABLISH AND CONTROL PROCEDURES TO MEET PRODUCTION SCHEDULES, RECOMMENDING IMPROVEMENTS IN PRODUCTION METHODS, EQUIPMENT, OPERATING EFFICIENCY, AND WORKING CONDITIONS.
- ENSURE PROPER STAFFING, TRAINING, MOTIVATION, AND SAFETY OF ASSIGNED EMPLOYEES.
- RECOMMEND OR INITIATE PERSONNEL ACTIONS INCLUDING PROMOTIONS, TRANSFERS, DISCIPLINARY MEASURES, ETC., IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
- MAINTAIN NECESSARY RECORDS AND COORDINATES ACTIVITIES WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS.
- BE CAPABLE OF ASSIGNMENT FLEXIBILITY WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF TRAINING OTHER SHIFTS AND FUNCTIONAL AREAS.
- PERFORM SPECIAL PROJECTS AND OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BACHELORS DEGREE PREFERRED
TWO TO THREE YEAR PREVIOUS SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE
PREFER TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH PACCAR
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS;
MUST MEET PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION WITH OR WITHOUT ACCOMMODATIONS
Education
BACHELORS DEGREE PREFERRED
