PACCAR WINCH Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR.  PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets.   We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma.  Our business is growing and we are seeking an experienced Six Sigma Belt.  This position is located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Six Sigma Black Belts are change agents for process and quality improvement. They are responsible for deploying Six Sigma quality concepts and tools across our business and for integrating Six Sigma quality into our business processes. They manage risk, set direction and lead the way to breakthrough improvements in product and process quality.


Essential Functions / Responsibilities:        


  • Apply Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects and waste.
  • Provide analysis and feedback to senior management on project activities, improvements, and savings.
  • Lead Kaizen Events, help PACCAR Divisions, suppliers, dealers, and customers improve performance.
  • Help develop and lead cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvement plans. Identify process improvement opportunities and quantify results and trends.
  • Mentor and support Black/Green/Lean Belts.
  • Transfer best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other process improvement teams.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement process improvement plans.
  • Challenge conventional wisdom by demonstrating successful application of new methodologies to improve product and process quality.
  • Assist with formal Six Sigma training, which may include the development of material, identification of appropriate candidates, and organization of class logistics.
  • Assist the Controller in calculating project benefits and closing.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
  • Related design and/or manufacturing experience
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Proven team leadership skills
  • High energy level, goal oriented self-starter with willingness to learn new ideas.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Desire to drive change and improve processes and standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to manage and resolve conflict.
  • Six Sigma/Lean training certification

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Design for Six Sigma
  • Project Management
  • Manufacturing experience desired
  • Machining process experience is highly desirable
