Requisition Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong critical thinking skills. The team member with utilize his/her skill sets to identify process improvements, perform financial analysis and implement best practices as part of a collaborative team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Purchasing team and PACCAR Truck divisions.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting support for the analytical review of Purchasing operations and reporting, including cost movements, supplier rebates, LTA’s, and supply base reporting.
  • Communicate timely and accurate cost forecast information to appropriate PACCAR divisions.
  • Prepare supplier surcharge and retroactive price adjustment payments.
  • Perform supplier financial statement analysis.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end reporting.
  • Develop and implement additional reporting through data analytics.
  • Special assignments and other duties as directed.

  • Strong organizational, time management, research and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with co-workers and others.
  • Positive attitude and “can-do” approach to issue resolution.
  • Strong PC skills - MS Excel and Access.

Education

  • BA in Accounting or Finance with three to five years of relevant work experience.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus.
