 REQUISITION SUMMARY

 

As a Senior Financial Auditor, you will lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of audits based on identified risks related to various PACCAR businesses.  In this position, you will dive deep into the details of your audits. You must have an understand of processes, internal controls and identify business risks. You must be comfortable working as an individual contributor, teammate, and audit lead concurrently. You would be required to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to align on audit issues and corrective actions.

 

 

JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of PACCAR’s internal controls by leading and performing audits with a focus on identifying and recommending process and control improvements.
  • Assess the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations that could have a significant impact on operations and financial results.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize PACCAR’s quality, utilization of resources, customer service and financial objectives.
  • Lead audit engagements from audit planning to report preparation.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.
  • Conduct business with the highest ethical standards.
  • Promote innovation and open communication.
  • Handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Plans and execute special projects.
  • Effectively uses data analytics to facilitate audit testing.
  • Lead meetings involving various management levels, effectively communicate audit status, align on audit issues, and recommend corrective actions.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

 

  • 5 to 8 years of finance, accounting, consulting, advisory, and/or internal control experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance or similar related field required.
  • MBA or other advanced degrees, a plus.
  • CPA, CIA, CA, or CMA certification, a plus.
  • Risk assessment, identifying operation risk, and managing process improvement experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills. You will prepare reports and make presentations to senior-level management. You will interact with various levels of employees to collect and communicate information.
  • Strong analytical skills. Proven history of analyzing data and situations to identify meaningful observations.
  • Tableau or other data visualization experience desired.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel.

Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
