Requisition Summary

PACCAR is looking for a results oriented, organized and professional Recruiting Assistant to join the team.  This position is an entry level role with career opportunities in Human Resources and Recruiting. The corporate Recruiting Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for recruiting initiatives for PACCAR Corporate Departments, PACCAR Financial and PACCAR Leasing.  This position coordinates the corporate accounting and purchasing internship program and provides administrative support in the implementation of successful marketing campaigns promoting PACCAR as a top tier employer.  The successful candidate will have a passion for recruiting while professionally representing PACCAR brands and mission of PACCAR.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Must be available to work required shift: Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
  • Assist Recruiters with creating and updating job descriptions and postings.
  • Upload documents into SuccessFactors the e-recruiting system.
  • Assist with sourcing and screening candidates from multiple sources.
  • Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Assist in writing and routing offers in SuccessFactors as needed.
  • Coordinate background checks, references and pre-employment drug tests.
  • Answer department phones and provide backup coverage for corporate phones.
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science required from an accredited institution.
  • 1+ years of administrative experience preferably supporting a corporate recruiting team.
  • Strong organizational skills handling interview scheduling travel coordination, pre-employment contingency processing, invoice processing and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Experience answering multi line phone systems.
