Requisition Summary

PACCAR is seeking motivated individual who will be able to track, develop and implement development of quality data analytic tools for the company to use.  The Quality Assurance Analyst position will work across multiple divisions, departments and countries to enhance the experience for their customers. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities and qualifications for this position are, but not limited to the following:

  • Manage and present materials on data projects.
  • Development and evaluation of advanced analytics models, including creating, validating, analyzing and explaining the data used for model development.
  • Extract, clean, merge, transform and compile data from various data sources, including relational database, flat files, NoSQL databases and unstructured data.
  • Integral member of the Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence; working with stakeholders from your division to develop new analytics solutions, identify new data useful for analytics projects, and support analytics best practices.
  • Develop new process improvements to increase the speed, accuracy and efficiency of our work.
  • Provide accurate, relevant and meaningful ad-hoc analysis to management to support strategic and tactical decision-making.


Sustaining and new project support for:

  • Systems: SAP, E-Portal, Security, and Supplier Quality SharePoint Sites
  • Process improvement: Support in strategies to enhance supply chain performance and product quality
  • System improvement: Investigate and implement improvements using Voice of the Customer
  • Promotion: Communicate and training for Suppliers, Plants, Division personnel on processes, systems and reporting
  • Minimum two years of applicable job experience, with a proven ability to make process improvements.
  • Experience with, or understanding of statistical techniques, modelling, and machine learning
  • Experience with, or understanding of programming (R, Python, Java, or C#).
  • Project Management experience with a focus on achieving timing requirements.
  • Strong organizational, written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Strong PC skills with familiarity in Tableau, Lumira and Microsoft; Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at one time. Requires the ability to prioritize work load based on changing goals and focus.
  • SharePoint site creation and maintenance
Education / Training

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or other technical field


Preferred Education/Training

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Computational Finance, Analytics, MIS or related field; or professional certifications such as CFA, CBIP, or MSCE in Business Intelligence
  • Project Management Certification (PMP).
  • Demonstrable in-depth understanding of data structures and ETL processes (including SSIS).
  • Familiarity with cloud storage and compute on AWS.
  • Six Sigma / Lean Belt training
  • Lead teams or projects across multiple functions
