PACCAR Financial facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 20 countries on three continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry. 

Requisition Summary

The MBA Associate Program offers exceptional candidates the opportunity to be exposed to key decision makers and leaders within PACCAR Financial. This highly competitive program is designed to find the best management talent, graduating in June 2018 and help shape the future leadership of PACCAR.

This is a 12 to 18-month accelerated training program involving rotational assignments in PFC’s key functional areas including Asset Management, Credit, and Sales. Upon successful completion, candidates are placed into management positions within PACCAR. Rotation assignment locations may include: Bellevue, WA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL.

The overall objectives for participants in the MBA Associate Program are as follows:

  • Develop technical expertise and demonstrate competence in each of PACCAR Financial’s functional areas
  • Expand knowledge of PACCAR operations and culture
  • Increase networking and visibility with PACCAR management
  • Prepare for progressive career growth

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Receive training and perform duties in several core departments such as Operations, Credit, Sales, Asset Management and Portfolio Management
  • Become familiar with line and staff functions, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business
  • During the course of the rotational assignments, MBA Associates will engage in the following activities:
  • Review and evaluate dealers and customers receiving wholesale or retail financing; recommend appropriate credit lines and complete documentation
  • Sell PFC finance and lease products to customers and manage all aspects of customer and dealer relationships
  • Proactively understand customer’s financing needs and develop recommendations for business/financial solutions to strengthen and expand PFC’s portfolio
  • Manage PFC’s portfolio through the understanding of PFC collection techniques
  • Remarket used equipment to PACCAR Dealer Network, independent dealers and retail customers
  • Support the sale of PACCAR equipment through accurate setting of lease residuals and used truck pricing on trade units
  • Perform analysis in various treasury areas in support of PACCAR’s Financial Services companies, including asset / liability management, cost of funds development, other borrowing costs, counterparty exposure and the derivatives portfolio
  • Participate and engage with major customers and dealers at industry functions
  • Receive Six Sigma training and apply tools to improve process capability and profitability
  • Transfer best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other business leaders.
  • Perform other duties and special assignments as required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Five to seven years of managerial work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred (Direct & Indirect employees)
  • Excellent communications skills and executive presence
  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Ability to speak additional languages preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to travel and relocate



Working towards completion of an MBA Degree, June 2018 from an accredited institution.

Preference will be given to candidates from PACCAR partner schools in the Northwest.
