Requisition Summary

The position of IT Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for all IT operation services for PACCAR Corporate and PACCAR Financial Services in North America. This person will provide strategic and administrative direction to the IT operations team and be accountable for daily operations of the department. By working closely with the central IT Division, this individual will have the ability to identify, implement, and support innovative and cost-effective technology solutions that adds business value and enhances customer experience.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision and operational support to five IT operations team members Mentor and coach the team and develop career growth opportunities.
  • Provides PC, Mobile devices, Servers and network support by overseeing the administration of the Local Area Network (LAN) for all assigned facilities.
  • Manages all system projects, from concept to implementation. Provides consultation on systems strategies and suggests proactive recommendations.
  • Establish IT Operations KPIs and manage performance to goals.
  • Establishes and maintain regular communications with Executives, Department heads, and End Users regarding pertinent IT activities. Oversees customer service/support to achieve client satisfaction.  Provides timely resolutions to problems.
  • Participates in annual budget development, providing business cases and ROI. Control IT operational budget and expenditures.
  • Act as lead subject matter expert in multiple technical areas, including PCs, servers, networking, access control, and security.
  • Ensure compliance with Internal Controls best practices and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Own and manage the asset management and disaster recovery processes for IT systems.


  • Minimum three (3) years leadership or managerial experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop O/S, Network and Server Architecture, TCP/IP protocol, and Office 365 Applications.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience managing Active Directory.
  • Experience with Agile and continuous improvement processes.
  • Strong customer and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and management.


  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business. Masters preferred.
