Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Employee relations activities including develop collaborative relationships with employees and managers, conduct investigations, identify problem resolution, provide counsel on policy interpretation and employment law, advise on employee development, and compensation administration
  • Manage Leave of Absence Programs (Disability, Workers Compensation, ADA, etc.)
  • Lead the Supervisor Roadmap and Compliance Training Program
  • Manage Puget Sound Regional Orientation Program and Support Peak Load First Day Onboarding Program
  • Lead Service Award Recognition Program
  • Provide Guidance and Oversight to PACCAR Financial’s remote offices & truck centers Safety Committees. Participate in Corporate Building Safety Committee.
  • Participate in HR Projects Such As Employee Surveys, Mentor Program Activities, Engagement/Social Committee Events, Compensation Projects, etc.
  • Provide Support to PACCAR’s Annual Performance Appraisal And Succession Planning Process and Executive Succession Planning Process
  • Conduct Exit Interviews & Analysis
  • Responsible For HR Compliance / Audit Duties Including Employee Files, Separation Files, I-9s, Records Retention, etc.
  • Lead PACCAR Corporate, Finance And Leasing Intern Program Including Onboarding, Exiting, Coordinating Leader Presentations And Corporate Based Leader Lunches
  • Provide Recruitment Support to Recruitment Department During Peak Periods

Education

  • Four year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant Human Resources experience
  • Outstanding communication, follow through, problem solving, and excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to work with employees and managers at all different levels of the organization
  • Professional, organized, excels at working independently and as a team, skilled at prioritization and meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and Worker’s Compensation a plus
