Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation and project management of PACCAR Inc’s SEC filings including Forms 8-K, 10-Q and 10-K
  • Perform technical reviews of various footnotes and MD&A items
  • Coordinate with External Auditors during the quarterly review and annual audit
  • Assist in technical accounting research including communication with various divisions
  • Perform technical GAAP / SEC research and prepare position papers
  • Assist with the adoption of new accounting pronouncements
  • Prepare peer analysis and benchmarking
  • Support Senior Accounting management and Corporate Accounting
  • Assist or manage various ad-hoc projects and special assignments


  • Minimum 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of SEC Reporting
  • Public accounting and industry experience with multinational publicly traded company preferred
  • Strong technical and analytical accounting skills with intermediate to advanced computer skills in Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macros, charts and graphs) and data analytic tools (i.e. tableau, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting issues at an executive level
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated, handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a team environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required

CPA/MBA Professional Certification Desired
