Requisition Summary

The Portfolio Risk and Analysis Group provides PACCAR Inc’s Finance Companies with high-quality analytics and reporting, and supports confident credit decisions with timely, accessible and insightful analysis.  This role is located in Bellevue, WA and reports to the Portfolio Risk and Analysis Manager.

Success in this role will hinge on your curiosity, ability to work well in ambiguity, a passion for learning, and adept presentation skills.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Analyzes credit and financial data to identify variances, anomalies and trends in key performance metrics:
    • Conducts and documents comprehensive analyses supporting in-depth review of market behavior.
  • Develops and refine financial reporting and dashboards:
    • Drives adoption of new dashboards by promoting dashboard use, educating users, and continuously integrating new functionality to meet user requirements.
    • Develops and implements process improvements that increase the speed, accuracy and relevance of financial reporting and analysis.
    • Responsible for devising and implementing financial reporting solutions.
  • Provides PACCAR Executives with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports that highlight changes in risk and financial performance of PACCAR’s dealer network.
  • Conducts and presents accurate, timely and meaningful ad-hoc analyses, supporting management’s strategic and tactical decision-making needs.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement through interaction with credit personnel at all divisions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Competencies

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy of critical company reports.
  • Experience with MS Access, and SQL.
  • Excellent analytical, critical reasoning and problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Passion for learning and curiosity.
  • Ability to concisely and clearly communicate complex topics.
  • Ability to influence adoption of new thinking.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent general business acumen with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Financial Statement / Balance Sheet Analysis.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field required.
  • Masters of Business Administration or related field preferred.
