Position Responsibilities

  • Schedule audits, projects, and staff assignments to comply with management’s needs within the scope of the department’s overall program.
  • Review and approve the purpose, scope, and audit approach of each audit project, and ensure that professional standards are maintained in the planning, execution, and accumulation of evidentiary data.
  • Review and edit audit reports and discuss the report with appropriate management.
  • Report the status of internal control systems to PFC Audit Steering Committee and PACCAR Inc management on a periodic basis.
  • Assist in and/or direct on-site dealer audits and PFC internal control reviews.
  • Provide for and perform research on audit techniques.
  • Develop manuals and other training aids.
  • Manage and supervise the Audit Group personnel.
  • Develop the skills of subordinates through a combination of goal setting, delegation, training, counseling and performance reviews. Ensure objectives are challenging, are being achieved, and that in appraising total job performance, accomplishments in relation to goals are appropriately recognized.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 30%
  • Seven plus years financial management experience
  • Three to five years experience managing/supervising an audit function

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. 
  • MBA, CPA or CIA desirable.
