Requisition Summary

The Audit Support Specialist is part of the Corporate Internal Audit Team and is primarily responsible for providing general support, managing the schedule of audits and issuing audit reports. The assistant will also manage the onboarding and off boarding of the rotational audit team along with participating in various initiatives of the department.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Director of Internal Audit and other audit team members.
  • Maintain audit plan and schedule.
  • Initiate and distribute audit notifications.
  • Format and distribute audit reports.
  • Track and review audit response and document status.
  • Onboard and off board staff.
  • Maintain and update company-wide organizational charts.
  • Coordinate Internal Audit Conference & Audit Leadership meetings.
  • Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain Internal Audit website.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and ambiguity well.
  • Five plus years high-level administrative experience, including correspondence to senior management.

Education

  • High School graduate required.
  • College degree preferred.
