Requisition Summary

This position will provide the ideal candidate the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to several aspects of the company by working with US Truck divisions, purchasing and suppliers to resolve discrepancies in the electronic settlement of supplier invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment to suppliers.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Review supplier statements and identify discrepancies.
  • Resolve price/volume discrepancies or system issues related to the electronic settlement of payment to suppliers for goods received.
  • Prepare aging analysis of unresolved statement settlement issues.
  • Participate in monthly status calls with Divisions and Purchasing.
  • Responsible for tracking progress in clearing AP Queue, RIP (receipts in process), and penny reports.
  • Prepare annual inventory accrual analysis to support physical counts at Divisions.
  • Assist with internal control and Sarbanes-Oxley reviews as assigned.
  • Assist with overhead review, forecast and budget reports.
  • Assist with Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly senior executive internal management reports.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to research and problem solve
  • Positive attitude and “can-do” approach to issue resolution 
  • AP experience preferred


Minimum Education Desired: Completed Associates/Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
